1. Terms

By accessing The Clever Girl Finance course platform {The School}, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this School are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. Account creation

In order to take Clever Girl Finance courses, you must register for an account (“Account”) and provide certain information about yourself. You represent and warrant that: (a) all registration information you submit is truthful and accurate, and (b) you will maintain the accuracy of such information. You agree that all account information you provide is governed by our Privacy Policy and you consent to all actions we take with respect to your information consistent with our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy forms a part of these Terms. You may request the deletion of your Account at any time, for any reason, by following the instructions on the Service. Clever Girl Finance may suspend or terminate your Account in accordance with Section 13.

3. Use License

  1. Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of any downloadable materials on the School’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
      1. modify or copy the materials;
      2. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
      3. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the School’s web site;
      4. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
      5. transfer the materials to another person or 'mirror' the materials on any other server.
  2. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Company at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.

4. Disclaimer

The materials on the School’s website are provided 'as is'. The School makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, the School does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

5. Mentor Calls Disclaimer

When you schedule a mentor call, you are doing it at will. Clever Girl Finance mentor calls are not financial coaching or financial planning calls, they are mentoring calls to guide you on how to use the platform, what learning path to take, how to leverage the community and to provide encouragement and accountability on your financial journey. In addition, our mentors cannot offer you any financial product or investment advice. All of our video calls and communications are in the strictest of confidentiality. Calls take place via a Zoom link provided in your confirmation email. Calls are recorded for training purposes only.

6. Limitations

In no event shall the School be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials or mentoring calls on the School’s website, even if the School or an authorized of the School has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

7. Fees and Payments

As consideration for any purchase you make on the Clever Girl Finance websites, you shall pay Clever Girl Finance Inc all applicable fees and taxes. We (or our third-party payment processor) shall authorize your credit card, bank account, or other approved payment facility you provided during the registration process for the full payment of the fees and any applicable taxes, and you hereby consent to the same.

You must provide current, complete, and accurate billing and credit card information. You must promptly update all billing information (such as billing address, card number, and expiration date) to keep your account current, complete, and accurate, and you must promptly contact us if your credit card is lost or stolen, or if you become aware of a potential breach of account security (such as an unauthorized disclosure or use of your Sign-In Name or Password). You hereby authorize Clever Girl Finance Inc to obtain or determine updated or replacement expiration dates for your credit card in the event that the credit card you provided us expires.

We reserve the right to charge any renewal card issued to you to the same extent as the expired card. In certain instances, the issuer of your credit card may charge you a foreign transaction fee or related charges, which you will be responsible to pay. You are advised to check with your bank and credit card issuer for details.

8. Revisions and Errata

The materials appearing on the School’s website may include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. The School does not warrant that any of the materials on its web site are accurate, complete, or current. The School may make changes to the materials contained on its web site at any time without notice. The School does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

9. Links

The School has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by the School of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.

10. Site Terms of Use Modifications

The School may revise these Terms of Use for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms of Use.

11. Breaches of These Terms of Use

Without prejudice to the owner’s other rights under these terms and conditions, if you breach these term and conditions in any way (including and not limited to disruptive behavior, profane language, discriminatory actions, etc), Clever Girl Finance may take such action as Clever Girl Finance deems appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending your access to the website, prohibiting you from accessing the website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the website and/or bringing court proceedings against you.

12. Governing Law

Any claim relating to the School’s website shall be governed by the laws of the School Owner’s home jurisdiction (New Jersey, USA) without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
